While many organizing collectives, autonomous spaces, actions, mobilizations, camps, conferences, coalitions and more have come up with sets of principles within which they have agreed to operate, there are some that have stood out over time and space and I’m choosing to highlight two here. They are not out of explicitly anarchist groups and, yet, articulate the important impact that anarchist/autonomous/anti-authoritarian politics have had on larger movements. These examples are varied in origin and purpose; time and expected longevity which means that they offer both examples of what it means for an autonomous individual or group to consent to commonly held agreements as well as a glimpse of what strengths global radical movements have shown over recent decades.
